Jennifer brings five years of experience in energy law to Floom Energy Law PLLC. Jennifer's prior experience at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) complements her energy interests in natural gas and oil pipelines, energy derivatives, and ratemaking. Jennifer takes a practical approach to addressing client needs, applying her knowledge of the energy industry to solve complex regulatory issues.
Prior to joining Floom Energy Law PLLC, Jennifer spent two years serving as an attorney-advisor to FERC administrative law judges. There, she advised several judges on contested proceedings involving the rates and practices of interstate natural gas and oil pipelines and electric utilities.
While in law school, Jennifer interned with FERC's Office of Administrative Litigation and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. These experiences allowed Jennifer to conduct in-depth research of issues related to cost-of-service rates, market-based rates, and energy commodity markets.
Prior to law school, Jennifer worked on natural gas exploration and production disputes at a Houston litigation firm, as well as tax and bankruptcy matters at various law offices in DC and Texas.
